Have a new family member, marital status change or need to enroll in benefits? If you experience a qualified life event or change in status and, as a result, wish to make a corresponding change to your benefits elections, you must notify The Hartford HR Service Center within 31 days of the change. For example, to add your newborn to your medical coverage (even if you already have family coverage) you must notify the HR Service Center within 31 days of birth. For most life events, you can make changes on NetBenefits by selecting the Life Events menu from the home page, or call The Hartford HR Service Center at at 1-877-HR-AT-WORK (1-877-472-8967), Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to Midnight ET.
