The Hartford offers a suite of voluntary insurance options that can provide an additional layer of protection for your finances.

	Hospital Indemnity	Accident	Critical Illness	ID Theft Monitoring	Legal Insurance
What is it?	It provides a cash benefit in the event of an unexpected or expected hospital stay for a covered illness/or injury, while insured under the policy.	It provides a cash benefit if you or a covered dependent are unexpectedly injured in a covered accident while insured under the policy.	It provides a lump-sum cash benefit when you or a covered dependent is diagnosed with a covered illness, such as cancer, heart attack or stroke, while insured under the policy. You or your covered dependents will not receive payments for any covered illness that results from or is caused by a pre-existing condition until you are continuously insured for 12 consecutive months. A Health Screening Incentive of $50 per year is available when you complete a qualified health screening. How does it help?	The amount can be used in any way you choose, including: Expenses the health plan doesn’t cover, such as deductibles and coinsurance, caregiver expenses, and travel to and from treatment centers. Day to day costs of living, such as rent or mortgage payments, groceries, childcare, pet care and utility bills. Helps to replace income lost while not working.
